Trocars and suction tubes are surgical instruments used in laparoscopic surgery. A trocar is a pen-shaped instrument that has a sharp tip and is used to create a small incision in the abdominal wall to allow for access to the abdominal cavity during laparoscopic surgery. Once the trocar is inserted, a sleeve is attached, which allows other instruments to be passed through it into the abdominal cavity.

Suction tubes, also known as cannulas, are used to remove fluid, blood, and tissue debris from the surgical site during the procedure. They come in different shapes and sizes, including straight or curved, and can be used with or without a suction machine. Suction tubes are often inserted through the trocar sleeve to provide suction during laparoscopic surgery.
